Ruth's Chris Steak House Huntsville Alabama...Real Estate Or Restaurants...It's All About The Service
It really doesn't matter what your chosen profession is, what matters is the knowledge you exhibit and the level of service you extend in your endeavors. As real estate agents we strive to keep current of new laws, changes in the market, new technologies through continuing education, knowing our product and area. That's not enough! We also work very hard at providing the best possible service to our clients. From thorough explanation of the process to truly acting in our clients best interest above our own in the most timely fashion.
Okay, so what does this have to do with Ruth's Chris' Steak House...a lot!
I've been to Ruth's Chris' Steak House several times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. Those three things keep me as a satisfied and returning customer at Ruth's Chris or any other business where I leave my money. The same applies to real estate...if you provide your client an atmosphere where they are comfortable, the product they are looking for and great service...they'll be happy and return to you again and again.
Recently I met my wife at Ruth's Chris' Steak House for lunch. We were seated immediately, ordered drinks then meals shortly after. So far so good, but things were about to change. I don't plan to give you a play by play description of the events that followed, but what I want to tell you is that my wife had all but finished her meal before I got mine. Very frustrating...my meal came 50 minutes after I ordered...it was a cheeseburger for your information. Now, my family and myself included have been in the restaurant business in some way since the early 1920's and one thing I can tell you for certain about the restaurant business is that things happen! No matter how hard you try to provide the best product and give the best service...things happen. It's how you handle the mess once it's in your lap...just like real estate.
Aside from a sincere apology from the manager and wait staff the issue was resolved by the Manager "Ray" comping both meals and drinks. He also included desert which we declined and free appetizers for our next visit. I really didn't want to accept the free meals, because after all I was going to enjoy them eventually so I declined, but Ray would not have...the entire meal was on the house. And by the way, I still left a tip...hey, things happen. Ray did everything possible to make it right...I'll go back again and again because of the atmosphere, the quality of the food, the service and because things happen...it's how you handle the mess once it's in your lap.
