A Signature Lines Can  Save Time

 

There are times we we need to say the same thing or give the same information over and over. Adding signatures to your emails, as you need them, saves time and gives good accurate information

We are not talking about this kind of signature but  email signatures that save you time once they are set up.

 

 

 

 

 

Here are a few  examples:

How many different signature lines are you using?

You could make one for each of your listings and when an inquiry comes in you just hit that listing. Don't have to send them to the MLS, or your web page or your blog. Instant information and quick. You can do personal things like a standard Happy Birthday Message.

Margaret - another form of 'signature' might be a 'signature page' or staionary template something fancier than simple text ..... a mini web page in email format, with links to certain web pages

Margaret.... very creative.  I don't need different signature lines as a loan officer, even though I am a manager. I use to have both, but I just use the one now.  But you bring up a very interesting point for those that have different functions or what to share different things with their clients.  Nice job here... and yes, I like Kathy's, comment # 18.

Margaret - having multiple signature lines is so important, and useful. I have kept mine to 5, in part becuase that's what my email provider allows. But I have others in a word doc that I can cut and paste in seconds. I'm always surprised at the number of folks who do not take advantage of their emails to publicize their blogs, websites, and more.

Jeff B.You can use different signature lines to describe each of your loan programs, or to have  a list of what is needed to make a loan application. This saves you from having to type it out each time.

Jeff D. You can have unlimited signatures ready to go instead of the cut and paste. But you know how to use this to save time.

The computer network at the office was just updated to Windows 7 and unfortunately that wiped out my saved signature.  So, I was just thinking about this today as I saved it to another machine.  I was not thinking about quite where I could take it though.  Thank you for the insight into another way to use the tools.
