With the Labor Day weekend approaching, When was the last time you enjoyed a beach day?

Today was a perfect beach day!

I was lucky enough to finish my work early enough to head to the beach with my family.

Pack a cooler and grab a beach chair before you know it the summer will be over!

Down at the Mattapoisett Shore's Beach the sun was brightly shining and you could see clear across Buzzards Bay to Falmouth.

Today was an exceptionally low tide, a great day for exploring as the water was like a warm bath. A perfect way to relax and spend quality time together!

Some other popular beach's along the coastline of Buzzards Bay:

Horseneck Beach,Westport

West Island,Fairhaven

Swifts Beach,Wareham

Onset Beach,Onset

Monument Beach, Bourne

Old Silver Beach,Falmouth

Click here for the Buzzards Bay beach information.

Hope you and your family enjoy a beautiful beach day! Don't forget the sunblock!

The summer went by pretty fast but fall on the beach is a great time to enjoy some peace without the crowds.  Have fun on the last long weekend of summer!

I got up and watched the sunrise here at the beach and Monika got sunburned during the day as I worked and played golf late in the day.

The weather here in NE has been great this week.Sunrise

Your welcome, nice to see you! Horseneck is the most popular beach in Buzzards bay! :)

Sally,

I think I need to go out further to see the seals, but I will let you know. :)

Monika,

The moon was incredible, I was out shopping last night. When I passed by the water on my way back the tide was really high. I wanted to head back down to the beach but everyone was sleeping when I got back. :)

Suzanne - I love the beach myself. Heading up to York beach ME this weekend. The only bad thing about Labor Day is it kind of signals the end of Summer. I don't look forward to winter at all. Hope you have a great weekend!

Its so amazing how our beaches are on the same side of the country yet look so different. Yours looks so inviting and relaxing and ours looks so HOT LOL :) Actually your beach kind of reminds me of the beach near San Diego with the tide pools. I miss those. Enjoy!

Hi Lysa,

I love our beaches around here, I love that we don't have to deal with the crowds and we actually get to relax at the beach. The way it should be...right? Low tide is fun...exploring rules! :) Nice to see you

I think that picture is beautiful, I went with my family to beach about 20 mins from my home and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, the water was a clear blue and you could see right through the water, I feel like going to the beach right now :0)

Suzanne, You bring back fond memories of day trips to Horseneck when I was growing up in Boston. Also spent a lot of time in Falmouth where my Best friwnds parents had a summer  home a few blocks from Old Silver.

Love the ocean, and now that we are in beautful Coastal NC. we visit the beach several times a week.
