Now that my husband and I are closer to being empty nesters, we thought we try some dance lessons. Every year since moving to Worcester, the Worcester Public Schools offer a variety of night classes. The Worcester Nightlife offers not only dance classes, but cooking, exercise, language, knitting, just to name a few. The last two years, we signed up for Italian cooking classes which were loads of fun but we also gained loads of weight! So this year, after our weight loss challenge, we thought we'd continue to stay active but have fun at the same time. And we did!
The class is two hours long and the instructor Helene has been teaching all variations of dance for over 30 years! So she definitely knows her stuff! My husband and I have been avid fans of Dancing with the Stars since they have started and would always critique the dancers but now, we have more appreciation for the work that is done week to week by the stars and their professional partners. It may look easy but it's NOT!
Life is too short, get out there and DANCE!
