Pregnant and Maid of Honor.

By
Real Estate Agent

I just wanted to share this. My daughter was asked to be her friends Maid of Honor about 1 year ago. Well, in the meantime my daughter (Krystal) got pregnant. She was very worried about being in the wedding because she said, "Mom, I'm going to be 8 months pregnant! I don't think I can be Melissa's Maid of Honor I'll be huge and fat". I told her she made a comittment and she has to be there for her friend. Was I wrong? I don't think so. In fact I think even pregnant she looked as good as the bride.

 Baby

In the pictures below, she is the tall blonde on the right of the bride. Our granddaugther is a ham so she had to be in this picture with her Aunt Krystal at the reception.

Yes if you laugh at this picture I'll know why. My daughter pointed it out right away. Oh well that's what the little ham gets. LOL....................

Here I am red eyed and blogging my heart out. I love active rain. Until the next one.

She looks GREAT at 8 months pregnant.  I think she did the right thing to be there for her friend. Great advice, and congrats on the grandbaby!

Deb -

Thanks I thought so too. I am very excited about the baby and it's a girl! She going to be named Gabriella but we already call her Gabby for short.

Thanks for the comment.

Oh yes, I have been there before! One of my best friends weddings I was really pregnant (8-9 months SUMMER TIME), my hubby was supposed to be in the wedding too and he broke is ankle!  We ended up not even being in the wedding at all... it was pretty aweful!  We both felt terrible for botching up the plans a bit... oh well

OMG, this post brings back so many memories for me! My sister got married in May (several years ago), and I was her maid of honor, and I was 9 months pregnant at the time.  It was horrible! My hormones were so out of whack that I bawled through the whole ceremony.  That crazy photographer has so many pictures of me red-faced and teary eyed, it's rediculous!  Though honestly, I'm so glad that I did it though - now I have all these great memories that I can laugh about and my daughter (now 5) loves to look back at those pictures and tell her Aunt that she was in the wedding too! I think you did the right thing - she'll have good memories of it once the baby is here.

Your daughter is beautiful. I am glad she was still in the wedding.  It is no fun to have to dress up at 8 months pregnant, but I am sure her friend was happy to have her by her side!

Ginger -   Thank you. She had to wear flats so when they went up on stage she wouldn't fall. Her friend Melissa was very happy that she was in the wedding. They have been friends since they were 5 years old. The wedding turned out great. Thank YouThanks for your comment.

She looked beautiful!  My oldest son got married a year ago Sept. Weddings can be stressful for sure! Especially the real large ones.
