I am a big fan of wordpress! I think that most website projects could be well served by basing their new site on the wordpress platform.
A lot of churches are looking to build new websites as they find it's necessary to have a sweet website to communicate with people. When I get the opportunity, I always recommend building a church website on wordpress. There are a ton of great wordpress themes for churches.
