Looking for something to do this weekend?  Join in the fun at the 22nd annual Chowderfest, held down by the bay, in Bay Village, Beach Haven, Long Beach Island.

Sunday is the clam chowder cook-off, with local restaurants participating.  For the price of a ticket ($20/adults, $10/children), you can taste as much clam chowder as you can handle.

The event is held rain or shine, from 11:00 - 4:00.  A great way to enjoy the shore in the Fall!

See you there!

I was always able to remember my chowders. Manhattan has a lot of crime, hence red. Snow skiing in New England, hence white.

We used to live at 101 Essex street back in the 80's. There were 11 kids in my son's class at the Elementary School. It was a great place in the winter.

Kathy, great way to remember which is which!

I love LBI!  A little quiet in the winter, not many restaurants open, but a growing year-round population.  The landscape has really changed over the years.  Gone are the little bungalows, they have been replaced with McMansions!

Love the Keys as well, just not as familiar with them!
