Nothing but the sound of the gently flowing stream along with the beautiful falls scenery.   :)

Medicine Flower Lodge with access to Rock Creek - Red Lodge, Montana

This picture was taken 4 miles North of Red Lodge at the Medicine Flower Lodge, a retreat center with Rock Creek frontage.  They do vacation rentals and offer some very private settings for weddings and social occasions.  The website is being revamped.  You can expect to see this photo appear on their updated website and colorful brochures.  :)

I will have another post and more info about Flower Medicine Lodge once their new website is up and running.

Happy Saturday and stay tuned for photos of the fall colors of Red Lodge coming soon on upcoming posts on AR!

Beautiful!!!  As I've said before, one of the best things about Activerain is that we have the ability to learn about so many different places - Montana looks lovely at this time of the year.  Happy selling, and thanks for sharing!  Wendy Betts - Vancouver BC

Carol,

We are not only lucky that fall has arrived in Red Lodge but that it has already lasted longer than last year's fall!   Last year, I remember taking photos of the fall colors in late September and within days the first snow of the fall/winter season decided to come, the beautiful colors turned quickly to brown and white and I was prevented from taking any further beautiful fall color photos.

Here's a link to the post from last year to explain it better with photos: The Fall Colors in Red Lodge - Yellow, Orange, Red, Green... and White? Where Did Fall Go?

Tony & Darcy,

Thank you.  It is so beautiful that I am taking lots more photos than any other place I have lived in my life.  I am taking photos much faster than I am able to share them on here too!   :)

Stay tuned for more fall photos of my beautiful surroundings!

Charles,

You are welcome.  I am sure the spot featured in the photo must have been visited by a moose.  I just was not there to capture both of them at the same time!  :)

Jenny,

Thank you for the reminder.  I have been busy taking photos to share on here and had actually forgotten that hockey season starts soon.  I am keeping tab on what is going on in baseball's major leagues and it promises to be interesting with a couple of races still to be determined on this final day of the baseball season!  :)

There is nothing more relaxing to me than the sounds of water...I want my next house to have some type of pond, lake, river in the backyard...

CIndy,

I have to agree.  That is what draws people to live near the water and if they can't afford to buy near the water, to at least be able to rent vacation rental places such as the Medecine Flower Lodge to have a well deserved vacation or special event with lots of time for relaxing by the water.   :)
