Fall Real Estate Pullman WA Lori Cofer Realtor

Many think that the Pullman Real Estate Market comes to screeching halt in the Fall.  But not so.  Sure, the bulk of properties come on the market in Pullman in early Spring.  But there are still many folks out there still looking for homes in the Fall.  And with less homes to chose from, you want your home to stand out above the rest!  Here are three tips for marketing your home into Fall that won't break the bank!

1.  Light it up!    The most important one that many folks don't think about is the shorter days.  Just a few weeks ago we had those longer summer evenings.  But now night is falling quicker each day.   Make sure you turn that porch light on.  And now with gardening sales in full swing, pick up some solar powered gardenLori Cofer Realtor lights and line your walk way.  And don't forget to put some around your yard sign too.  I know I have reflective contact riders on mine!

2.  Freshen it up!  Now that you have all that great light to take center stage at night, think about your walkway and front door. A nice fall wreath on the door or a basket of fall flowers would go a long way to welcome your fall visitors!  It let's them know are still very actively marketing your home!

3.  Plant a new assortment of Spring bulbs that go from early Spring to Summer!  Now put together a collage of those front cards of those bulbs and put it into a nice little scrap book of  Spring, Summer and Fall Garden Pictures.  Don't have one?  Get that camera out and get busy!  It is a beautiful Fall day in Pullman today!  Capture it while you can!

A agree Lori. We can't overcome the gloomy weather, but there's plenty that can be done to brighten things up in other ways.

The photo album is a good idea.  The area I work is noted for having wonderful views--it's always nice to have a photo album showing off the day view as well as night shots.  Very few buyers are at the property to see the sunrise or sunset and a picture is the next best thing.

Great post, Lori.  I've often wondered why we don't have open houses out night for the houses that have beautiful exterior lighting?  And, I'd like to add a suggestion - put some fresh vibrant flowers in a vase on a table or countertop.  Add a pop of color.

Lori. Your pictures always make Pullman look like a picturesque place to live. I didn't know much about the city before reading your posts.
