Take advantage of Active Rain!

I've been looking at this website and noticed one thing. It is a great place to market yourself - for FREE! If you are a notary like myself, it is a great inexpensive marketing tool. If you are a Realtor, I see some great ideas and a new market to show your listings. If you are in insurance, you can also market yourself free and someone could use your services just because they found your information here. And the many other professions affiliated with the Real Estate market. As I said, take advantage of this site, I think it is a great way to market for free. (of course you can pay for additional marketing, but even the free marketing is awesome!)

Ronald ... there are other benefits far greater than the free exposure provided by this site. The SEO value will give your website a boost in the search engines.

I agree, there are so many benefits, and it is amazing what it does for free!

I'm just starting here on Active Rain. Well, I had a profile here for a while but I have just now started working the AR system. It's actually quite time consuming! But I'm hoping it will pay off for me.

However, I did notice in the guidelines that we are not supposed to advertise ourself or our services in the comment section of someone else's blog, so I do believe that including your website link is a no-no.

Too many Activerainers get tangled in their shorts over the SEO aspect of this site and completely forget the MARKETING benefit. If your only vehicle for SEO is Activerain, your vehicle needs to be put in the repair shop, because it missing some parts and needs an overhaul.

Maybe a reason for the excitement over SEO and Activerain is because many don’t know any other way to make their site come to the top of the search display. The marketing aspect is far greater than any SEO value you get. You get to create a message that resonate with your target market, test your messages, make new friends, build mutually beneficial relationships and occasionally generate a lead that converts into a sale. There was no mention of SEO in that last sentence.

If Activerain is your primary SEO tool, that means there is a lot you have to learn about Internet Marketing and website development. Any decent blog will get index more quickly via Google. That is just the way it is, as they usually have more updated content then websites. You can actually set-up a blog within your website and have it read as frequently as a Activerain blog. Activerain is a good player, but it is not the only game in town. Jump on that marketing bandwagon.

Ronald, you always bring out important salient issues. I wish surfer pick up on the essence of your message with an open mind.
