16 Comments on This Spider Is Ready For Halloween!
what an amazing photo! We are awash in Asian stink bugs around here - nothing so interesting as your spider.
Hi Trey... if I encountered that spider on Halloween or any day I would definitely not be happy! EEK!
Wow! I've never seen anything like it, a very interesting spider Trey!
Trey, For God's sake, that spider is huge or that is a wonderful close-up...
Trey, As a young adult I had plastic surgery from a brown recluse bite and I have to be honest I have a big fear of spiders. I am a cool Mom though as I let our daughter have a tarantula as a pet. It was when she was in college and when she brought it home at break I made her keep the aquarium covered (lol).
Lise...we had hundreds of stink bugs this summer also!
C'mon Steve..he's kinda cute don't you think?
Wanda...first time for me too.
Paul...you are right , it is a blowup. He was tiny.
Marchel. Those browns are serious spiders!
OH my goodness, I hate spiders, and agree it looks like it is ready for Halloween. But please stay away from me.
He is beautiful Trey, how cool you picked up that skeleton likeness on his back. Very cool indeed :~)
Trey,
Good one. He looks related to our banana spiders. :)
Steve
Cynthia ,
I know you are a great insect photograher...I am still learning but really enjoy bugs!
Steve,
I think I know the ones Steve. They are all interesting.
Great photo, Trey!! We are enjoying lots of Monarch butterflies right now. Haven't seen as many spiders lately...though I'm sure they are still with us!!
Thanks Sonja....we don't have as many butterflies this year . Don't know why either.
The problem for me is that I can't tell which ones are harmless and those that are not! YIKES! He does look like a skeleton!
Wow - my daughter is afraid of spiders but she likes skeletons. Still, the fear won out and I couldn't even get her to come look at it. I think I'll email it to her. Bwahahaha!
Did you take that photo? I'd like to share it on Facebook.
What a cool photo!
