What I learned from Lady GaGa

Kerrie is very sweet, and this is a bit of a revelation. But she wrote this awhile back, and I don't think it ever got featured. So maybe more people will see it now. LGG and her career track remind me a lot of early Madonna.

Lady GaGa

I had the pleasure of attending Lady GaGa's concert the other night in Tacoma, WA.  My friends and I were excited to attend as we love her music and have heard nothing but great things about her show.

Great doesn't even begin to justify what went on.  She came out onto the stage like she belonged there, like it was her living room.  Her voice, choreography and outfits were simply amazing.  At one point she was jamming on the piano with her stiletto boot...did i mention the piano was on fire?

I admit I have cried at concerts.  Music moves my soul and I can be a lil bit of a sucker at times.  I never in a million years thought I would cry at a Lady GaGa show.

She is all about the equality of people and pushing her "little monsters" to be the best and do their best.  To not care what people think is tough but she is living proof of how freeing it can be.  She said to us "Do not leave here loving me more....leave here loving yourself more."

So, if I get nervous in front of a bunch of people..*cough cough* RainCamp....I am going to think back to Miss GaGa and remember her words.  If I wonder "Can I really start dance classes again at my age" I will think Lady G would say "Hell yes".
Anything is possible and I'm grateful for my most recent reminder.
