It's hard to believe another month has passed and it's time again for an Edmond Real Estate Market Report.  Here is what happened in Edmond real estate in September 2010.  Remember, for this report Edmond is defined as homes within the Edmond Public School district and based on information available from Oklahoma City MLS.

  • New listings:  During the month of September 304 homes were listed for sale in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Of those, 34 are already under contract and 3 transactions have closed! 
  • Pending Contracts:  A total of 207 property owners accepted offers in September.  Of those, 42 closed in the same month.  Among those that now have a pending status, the average final list price was $241,445 after 89 days on the market.
  • Closed Transactions:  A total of 176 homes got new owners in September.  The average list price was $242,236 and the average sold price was $235,064 after just 80 days on the market.  That means the average seller sold for 97% of their list price.
