Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair is an annual event for the Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and all the Southbay homeowners and residence of the area. It has been a hit for almost 60 years! I volunteered in the public works booth, where we had a wheel to spins and gave away environmentally friendly gifts all day long. I had the privilege of meeting the families and residences of Manhattan Beach homes, Hermosa Beach homes, Redondo Beach homes and all the Southbay homes all day long! It was a treat.
There were local bands and food. There were so many wonderful vendors, vendor tents as far as the eye could see with jewelry, clothing, home decor, art and a wide variety of others.
The day began at 7:30 with a 10K run through Manhattan Beach. Participants came in all age levels and some have been running that race for decades! It is so fun to be a part of a community that loves to gather and share food, entertainment and each others company.
