Why buy a smartphone anywhere else?

I just made the switch from Verizon to AT&T, and after much searching, I found an amazing deal on a smartphone.  I went to Amazon.com and found that if you are switching to AT&T (and others) from another company, there are quite a few phones that you can get free after rebates.  I couldn't find a Blackberry Curve anywhere else for less than $199 so I was pleasantly surprised when I found one for free after rebates on Amazon.

Yes I had to sign a two year agreement and I have to pay my bill on time, but what a small price to pay.  I noticed that they have the T-mobile Dash, Sony Ericsson W810i, Motorola Krzr K1, Samsung U740, Samsung Blackjack, and the Blackberry Pearl also for free.

If you are in the market for a phone, check Amazon before you go anywhere else!

Not bad - my husband just bough a Dash today - maybe we should have waited!

anything for those of us who already have AT&T?  My phone was stolen a few months back, so I am working with this HORRIBLE phone from the 90s or something. I think the computer mouse is smaller than my phone!

Tarina, I'm not sure what to do if you already have AT&T.  Give them and they may do something for you - you never know.
