Good morning! It got chilly last night and appears that fall weather is finally here. I am looking forward to seeing the leaves changing soon and the beauty of Upstate South Carolina being displayed in the vibrant colors of fall! Of course, we see Orange and Garnet all year long, but that is not on the trees!
Some interesting news was released this week about real estate. Pending home sales have increased for the second consecutive month! Part of blogging about Upstate South Carolina is not just talking about real estate for sale or local community events. I like to talk about economic development news and we got some great news this week Area Development magazine included South Carolina in their Top 10 states for key site selection criteria. As great as the news about pending sales being up is for real estate and the economy, NAR also recently released some news that might scare people when they predicted a slowdown in sales for 2010 compared to 2009. But this is national and not local.
