You Asked for it! Staging Inventory Tracker.

On Kimberly Westers blog Staging Inventory: TAG, You're Mine! I made a comment that I use a free home inventory program that I downloaded. Many of you have asked for the link,

Here it is: www.iii.org just click on the icon on the right hand side that says free software.

With this program you can organize your inventory by room or type or whatever you want, scan in your receipts with each piece, attach a name, description, or id to each photo, print thumbnails of the pictures of your inventory, there is even a search feature so you can locate it within your entire inventory and I am sure there is more you can do but that is all I have done so far.

I hope this helps everyone get their staging inventory organized!

Tara- Thanks so much for sharing this! It is so cool! I'll be jumping into this after the long weekend.

Tara, thanks so much for sharing this link! I've struggled with keeping track of what I own, and as you said in your previous post, it's too easy to forget what belongs to who. I always take photos of my items, and this will make it easier to keep track of everything. I just need to remember to bring a copy of it with me when I go to un-stage the recently sold property!

Thanks - I've just started my inventory and it is TIME CONSUMING!!! I'll look at this & see if it helps.

Thanks for this Tara, it raised a point I had been avoiding. (Well, that's not true, I hadn't thought of it.) Insurance. I can't bear the idea of having to manually input my entire inventory, but...on the other hand, if I don't I'll have no record of what I might have lost in the event of an 'Act of God' or whatever.

I really can't bear the idea of tracking the entire collection. Especiallly since the Fall Season has started here. I just hope there's going to be some buyers out and about.

Your welcome everyone! It's pretty simple software and nothing fancy. It gets the job done.

Everyone is saying they are going to work on it this weekend, how about take the weekend off and enjoy the last days of summer! You're inventory can wait 4 days!

Brian- You don't have to pay for it. Its a free download. I have never had it ask if I wanted to pay with paypal..

Thank you for finding this resource and sharing it. I know this is something people are looking for. Would love a followup to see how you all like it after using it awhile. I am just getting organized, finally, and would love to start something that works well, just don't want to waste time.
