The City of PORTAGE, Located inPorter County, in Northwest Indiana.

Northwest Indiana borders the State line of Illinois and offers options for commute by Toll-road, Expressway or Train to Chicagoland.

Portage is a fast growing city offering it's residents State of the Art Theatres, a wide variety of Resturants, AND a NEW HUGE MALL coming soon!

With all that said, if you are looking to relocate to an area of economic growth, and spend less money on taxes (considering recently, the sales tax in Chicago-land (Cook County) has been proposed to increase to over 10% consider a Move to Porter County!

     FYI, here in Indiana ... 

FOOD, Prescription, & NON-Prescription Drugs are all EXEMPT from Tax !

Also, the Housing $$ may buy a lot more Home,

With Easy access to both the Indiana Toll road or Interstate I 94, not to mention the South Shore Train...NWI  has affordable housing options and yet is within commuting distance to Chicago-land.
