As of September 1, 2010, the housing market shows consistency in the number of homes that are available for sale. While the actively listed inventory remains consistent the results indicate a drop in the number of homes under contract for purchase and in the number of homes sold during the month. The monthly statistics* are given below.

The average days on market for sold properties is 67 days.
In the past six months, 148 homes have sold in the city of Murphy with an average sales price of $276,672.
