This is a photo I took today while standing on the roof of a three story condo that overlooks some of Bellingham's prime waterfront. The photo gets two things across (1) I felt like a kite way up there (2) we have some pretty incredible views in Whatcom County. And, compared to many areas, the prices are still reasonable. Oh oh, I sound like a realtor now.

I am a jaded home inspector so I seldom take view shots. But this gives a pretty nice idea of the view from some of the condos along State Street on Bellingham's south side.

Thanks for stopping by,

Steven L. Smith

Hi Steven~ If I may say so myself, it is a very nice view!  Great shot of the area!

Great photo! But I think I would have waited until the red car left. I know that isn't always possible and some times you only get one shot - so make it your best one. It's an EXCELLENT photograph! Are you planning to give it to the homeowners? I can't help but wonder if they ever saw their home from that aerial view? Lucky you!

Beautiful view, and it's great that you got the chance to soak it up for a while.  I hope if you were inspecting this view home, that means it was under contract!  :)

That is beautiful! Did you manage to get the inspection done or were you staring out the window and letting your trusty, faithfull and talented assistant do all the work?

That's a pretty view.  However, I've never understood why people pay extra for views like that.  We lived beside a pasture and the cows were more lovely and interesting to me.  But I've always liked close-up details.

You can't be too jaded if you took this beautiful shot.

Steve, it is beautiful!  And I notice that there are few clouds in the sky!  Hah!  Busted!  Another day of no rain in the beautiful, sunny Pacific Northwest!
