Public Schools on the Main Line are highly rated and are one of the reasons the Main Line attracts many new residents to the area each year. Main Line Schools are broken into 4 districts, including Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford and Tredyffrin/Easttown.  Pennsylvania has some of the best school districts in the country, and the PA legislature has put education at the top of the list of priorities.

Private Schools are generous in number on the Main Line and include, but are not limited to the Baldwin School, Episcopal Academy, Devon Preparatory School, Friends' Central School, Haverford School, Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, Main Line Academy, Malvern Preparatory, Merion Mercy Academy, and Villa Maria Academy. 

Colleges and Universities are highly recognized as some of the best schools in the country including Bryn Mawr College, Cabrini College, Eastern University, Haverford College, Rosemont College and Villanova University.
