On A Personal Note.... What I Have Been Doing

I have not been around much the last couple of days... I have been slightly pre occupied with my niece Misty.  She had a beautiful baby boy yesterday, boy what a LONG day!  I have given birth to my own children. But I must say it is amazing to be a part of when you are NOT the one having the baby, all you lucky men out there. The miracle of birth must be one of the most magical experiences on earth.  I have watched my grandson enter the world, now my Nephew and I will be welcoming another Grandson in January. Life is good and I am very blessed....

P.S. 24 Years ago today I married my Wonderful Husband Rick! Here is to many, many more!!

Melissa, firstly, Happy Anniversary and best wishes for many many more.  Congrats on the new baby.  There's nothing more special than welcoming a new little one into your lives.  I must say though, that I am jealous.  I'm the the lucky mother of 8, and the grandma of 20+, but the closest I have come to witnissing a birth is one of my own, or being present minutes after.  My favorite activity is parking myself in front of the nursery window and just observing.  It never fails to move me to tears - all those miracles of life!  Enjoy the blessings!

Big Congrats to you and hubby!  Enjoy your new great nephew (doesn't that sound old??)!  I was present when my sister and my daughter gave birth...it's an incredible experience and so different when you're not the one with the labor pains!

Congrats on the little one!  U have been meaning to get on AR the last week but haven't had a moment that I wasn't sick, helping my mom move or getting ready for the Homebuyers workshop.  Which I appreciated your advice!
