October is breast cancer awareness month and pink should be everywhere to remind us of the importance of early detection and treatment. My Mom had a double mastectomy, so this is a cause very dear to my heart. These pretty flowers grow wild in our Florida grass and my wife Marla transplanted some for our screen room.
We have a hibiscus bush that produces mostly yellow flowers but this pink one just blossomed as if in tribute.
Please support your local efforts to bring awareness to this devastating and deadly desease.
