Kamalii Alanya is a lovely new Maui development in Kihei that is priced surprisingly well.  This well planned neighborhood, features a park with children's playground, and is a short walk to the beach or a short drive to all the conveniences of town. With 5 unique floor plans for homes ranging from 1,000 square feet - 2,200 sq. ft. and the lots ranging from 4,500 sq. ft - 10,000 sq. ft. there is a wide range to choose from.  Kamalii Alayna will have a total of 92 Kihei homes, phase I includes 60 units, sixteen of them deemed affordable, phase II will include the final 32 units. This Maui real estate development became available on the MLS on January, 2007 and has been received very well by the community.

Each quality two, three or four bedroom home has a one or two car enclosed garage and spacious lanai for outdoor living in the comfortable climate that Kihei has to offer.

Betsill Brothers Construction, the developers of Kamalii Alayna, took the environment to heart when planning this Kihei neighborhood, each home is insulated, has dual glazed Low E windows, and Radiant Barrier Roof Sheathing.  Buyers may upgrade to a solar water heating system and it is highly recommended in sunny South Maui.

Thanks Karen. Sounds like an interesting development. Maui is beautiful we were there several years ago. Makes me want to go back and buy.

Yes, it is beautiful here.  We are blessed.

This development is great.  I'd be buying there if I didn't already own.

What a beautiful family you have, you must of had fun when you came to Maui.

:)

HI Karen -

This looks like a great development.  I like the fact that they have green space for children and short drive - or walk/bike? to all the conveniences of town!

Also you say, "Buyers may upgrade to a solar water heating system and it is highly recommended in sunny South Maui." Here is a link to an article from the UK talking about what an untapped resource Solar Water Heating is. I, for one, think it would be beneficial for the builders to consider adding this standard to their package like my friends at GreenLife Homes do! It just makes sense to do it up front!

Good post! I am always interested in what is being done in other parts of the country!
