Hanging out in Starbucks teaching a Flash CS4 Professional class

One of the best parts about cool foodie spots that have free WiFi is that you can get your laptop peeps together and throw a private class on just about anything.

Seems some of my friends want to destroy and rebuild their websites with me so I went to B&N to select a nice "read less learn more" visually cool text book for them. Since my kids are visual learners I now act as if everyone I meet is a visual learner (LOL).

Here's my fave website for the "Read Less - Learn More" "Visual" series: http://www.wiley.com/go/visual

I use their Wiley Visual Encyclopedia series with my kids. If I can get Mr Autism and Mr PDD-NOS interested in working with my complicated computer programs by playing learning games with them you may want to consider checking this company out because unlike them you know how to read. I bet their textbooks will surprise you. Seriously... (Gotta go - Break time is over, back to class - LOL).

Very interesting, I didn't think Starbucks was big enough or quiet enough to have those.

Andrzej, my classes are never quiet and always fun (LOL). We took over half the store. They are very happy to see us here. Lots of snackage being purchased by giggling writers creating flash banners. I may post mine later. ;-)

C, this is a great resource for people with limited time to learn new computer tech 'stuff.' Thanks again!

Maria, I love them because every book is direct and to the point. With kids like mine you don't have time to quibble if they ask you a question. Being able to see which drop down table has what empowers them to experiment without me. Noah loves MS Office, Adobe, Sony Acid and Pro Tools. He's taking baby steps with his computing skills but he is leaning. They both will sit next to me and help make decisions by dragging and dropping files into the visual time lines. I love making YouTubes with them. Now we're making real estate animations together. :-)
