So I Took Matters Into My Own Hands...

With all the doom and gloom we're constantly being bombarded with these days, I thought I'd take the matters into my own hands and create some happy news for a change.

Don't worry. Be happy!

So, with a little help from Photoshop, a frosty adult beverage, and my warped imagination, here's a newspaper front page that I'd like to see on newsstands sometime soon!

Rich - One thing that can never be taken away from me, no matter what's going on in the world, is my sense of humor. My business is doing well, my attitude is always positive, and I will not subscribe to the doom and gloom mentality. Speaking of subscribing.....why aren't you subscribed to my blog? We come from the same seed Bro. Like my Grandpa used to say "When it becomes work I quit". Actually he retired 3 times, Railroad, GM and self employed GC but he loved life everyday. That's what it's all about. If I can't surf at least 4 to 5 days a week, ride my bike or walk the sandy beach or the city streets of the Globe with my lovely wife of 37 years I'm not a complete person.

John - My buddy Nevin and I have been planning a trip to San Diego for some time now. He's heading out there in a few weeks. I can't make it this time. You guys should definitely hook up. And when I do eventually make the trip, we'll do some surfing (it's been years for me) and I'll bring the bike and we'll do some riding for sure. Nice to hear you have someone in your life that completes you. That's what it's all about.
