North Las Vegas Real Estate Report

The North Las Vegas real estate market slid back in September, with 605 homes sold compared to 658 in August, Year-over-year sales are down 23.0% from the 786 North Las Vegas homes sold in September 2009. The mix of available North Las Vegas homes for sale is 58.2% short sales, 21.7% regular sales and 20.1% bank owned.

The median selling price for single-family homes in North Las Vegas is down 4.8% from September 2009 to September 2010. At $123,800 this is the first time in 17 months that it has broken out of the range from $125,000 to $135,000.

John...stats that seem less than stellar, but at least homes are selling. Hopefully, the regular sales will peak up in this quarter.
This is a great localism post, this way those looking to move within the North Las Vegas area will know just what is happening in the area.
I think that I heard that Las Vegas has moved above MI in the unemployment stats--not a record any state wants to hold.
Nation-wide, we need real jobs and some stats as yours and ours need them the most.
