Up to now, the once-a-year cleaning chores had been carried out in the spring. Through the years, some of us have shifted many of these to the fall. Starting to clean up will ensure you have a cleaner home during the holiday season. We seem to keep the windows open and just traipse about the house during the warm months. Now, we can sparkle things up and get ready for those warm and cozy times in our homes.

Clean the carpets
Clean the attic (if you have one)
Clean the light fixtures
Change the batteries in your fire alarms
Clean your window coverings
Clean all your appliances
Clean your gutters
