Shhhhh, it's a secret! Do you like to view nature? Trees? Wildflower Meadows and Ponds? Stop on by at Deerwood Arboretum and Nature Center located at 320 Deerwood Lane in Brentwood, TN (off Johnson's Chapel Road). This park has a jogging path, bikeway, Nature Center Complex, a small amphitheatre, restrooms and visitor assistance.
With around 2 miles of trails peppered with benches for reflecting, resting, listening or just being, Deerwood borders the Little Harpeth River, and has 69 species of trees all of which are easily identifiable with a tree identification trail guide. Most of the tagged trees are native to TN. Take some time out of your day, and stop to view the trees! Don't forget your camera, you will probably see some ducks as well.
