I had welcomed her to AR at the time, and noticed she was in the area (Hellertown, PA - Lehigh Valley) and simply posted if she minded if I called. No problemo.

So after 2 emails and a call... we ended up at lunch today and spent an hour yakking back and forth.  I wish she and I had another 2 hours to spend, but she had an appointment back at the office. (and she was probably tired of my babbling :^)  ).

What I really liked about the discussion was not only a little review of our backgrounds (mainly mine. AHHHHHH)..... but when I asked what she likes and dislikes about her present Title companies, she was very open / honest and didn't have to think very long on giving me an answer.  This is the type of feedback I thrive on.  Is there anything that bothers a Realtor or Loan Officer that perhaps we also inadvertently partake ?  Or is there something totally positive that we have not implemented. We continually try and improve our Closing services.

Once again, AR has come through for me as a vehicle to meet someone new.  Whether we get business or not from Catherine, I have met a truly interesting person who LOVES to mentor other Realtors. I dig people that like to help others.

I'm from the Central Bucks County, and happened to find your info.  Yes, this is another great networking tool!  Do you do title work only in that area only, or do you do work for other states as well?

I agree.  And isn't this the reason we're here on AR.  ...to meet new people, network, promote our business and our products, learn and share.  I love this venue.

Sorry, I just noticed your question, I have lived in FL since 1984.  I miss it up there - my family that is, but last November, was back visiting & my nephew had a football game.  35, misting rain and strong wind reminded me why I left that area!!!     :-)

Yip, I can see that. I keep telling wifey we need to start planning on moving south.... anywhere from Virginia down to Florida.  I like to be within 'driving distance' of the ocean. Not real thrilled with California.

If the darn economy (and interest rates) weren't booming in Ireland.. I'd take a peek there to move.  Weather's wet and windy many a day..... but the Guinness, music and fireplace setting is delicious.
