There is a lot of people out there that really don't believe that facebook can be used for business. But I am truly a believer that it can be. I openly post about my real estate business but I also keep it personal to. I have a few clients that I closed on my facebook and I keep in touch with them, and I have recieved a few leads from facebook as well. If you are on facebook and haven't used it for your business I would strongly suggest it. Here are a few tips on what you can do.

Post updates about whats going on in your real business. Those on your friends list will see that you are an actively working agent and that is never a bad thing.

Keep it personal. I am by no means saying post some pictures of you hovering over a toliet because you had to much to drink. But there are other things that are going on in your life other than real estate, post about it. Your clients will feel more endeared to you if you show your human side.

Add your clients to your facebook. If they are actively using facebook, than there is no way they will ever forget you. Also if they are buyers, once you close their house take a picture of them in front of it, tag them in it and all their friends and family on their facebook will see it and be directed to your page if they click on the picture.

Facebook is a very strong tool for your business. If you are not actively using your facebook I would suggest you start doing so. And please feel free to add me.

I try to keep my Facebook account separate from my business.  It seems I see enough business everywhere and I like to visit with my friends.  It ooks as if this works for you, and that's great.  I lived in Berdoo for 42 years before I relocated to the East Coast 13 years ago.  I miss home sometimes.  :) Keep up the good work. :) Gail

Good information for Facebook users. I use a business page on Facebook for many of my real estate posts.  See you on Facebook!

I am new to using Facebook for business and appreciate your input. I also believe that it's a good thing to combine business with personal. It fits my personality as I am what you see. That being said, I'm going to go back through my profile and make sure that what you see isn't TOO "out there"!!!!

Keep up the good work.

I don't use FB fully, and I probably should.  I'm going to look you up.
