I love mustard... I will have to come home. I don't think the Poupon U team could be in the same league with the Badgers... #gobadgers
You should visit, Maureen! Let me know if you do. They'd be no contest with the Badgers! The mustards are delicious here and they try to sell local brands as much as possible, too, like Wisconsin cranberry mustards!
Barbara...
I love mustard and this museum should be a must-visit for all those in the area!
I went to school in Madison in the early 80's. I haven't been back to Middleton in a long time. This looks like a nice place to visit.
I love mustard, any and all kinds. Sometimes just mustard with a spoon. One of my favorite horseradish sauces is the mustard horseradish..
Congrats on the feature!
Well written post.
Barbara-
I, too, am a mustard lover... and this article is fabulous! Thanks for sharing!
Hello Barbara - It looks like a fun place. If we're ever in the neighborhood we'll be sure to stop in.
Barbara what a great localism plug and I enjoyed the history behind the musuem. It's funny how it only takes an idea...............
I'm sorry, Barbara - I guess there is no better way to write a blog post than to STALK someone!!!! ;) You know I am kidding - brilliant post and well deserving of the feature!
Barbara, what a great and interesting story. I'll take mustard over ketchup any day. Thanks.
Barbara-Can't the condiments just get along? Why the putdown of catsup by mustard/ The condiments should be judged by the taste-let's begin today to end this unnecessary fighting among the condiments. I'm looking forward to the day when the condiments can live in harmony. Peace at the Condiment Shelf.
Richard-thanks! It is a pretty cool place!
Lola-come back and visit Madison sometime!
Thank you so much, Judi and that is bettr than eating mayonaise off a spoon in my book!
Thank you, Marcie. : )
ANdy-yes come up sometime to cool off!
Charita-that is so true. We do not know where our next idea will come from!
I love being stalked by you Leesa! : ) Show up at my "doorstep" any time!
Wayne! I just love this! That sign about the ketchup in the post was pretty much off the deep end, wasn't it? What about relish? Do they allow that? You make me laugh!
Barbara, thank you for a delightful read! Makes me wish I had some hot pretzels and a sampler of mustard to dip them in.
Never did understand ketchup.
Thanks, Kathryn-me too! BTW, I have enjoyed Sturbridge Village numbers of times when I lived in RI.
Barbara, my first visit to the Mustard Museum was a blast. By the way, they have CHOCOLATE toppings too!! :-) Thanks for featuring my son and his girlfriend. They loved their visit to Middleton & Madison!
