Burlington Vermont Dog Costume Contest - 10/10/10

Burlington Vermont held a Dog Costume Contest today at the Burlington Waterfront. The theme was autumn so there were many dogs dressed as pumpkins and with other holiday themes such as a scarecrow and a football player. There were several adorable contestants! Prizes included chew toys and stuffed animals. Also, there was a pumpkin pie eating contest (for people, not the dogs). What a beautiful afternoon to spend at Waterfront Park!

I like the taco dog...is that a dog meat taco? Those are some good dogs. I have a cat that will stand to be dressed up, but my dogs don't take it too well.
