Lovely. I will be on the boat today with my camera, hope to have the same type of pictures!
There is something magical about being on the water. It's calming and offers a feeling of serinity. Same with being in the mountains with views of a mountain range.

Lenn - You are so right! Maybe that is why I prefer sailboats...Quiet & peaceful & magical. I love the mountains too, and fortunately NC offers both!
Good morning, Amy. Yes, there is something about viewing the land from the water. I am out in my kayak every chance I get...
By sail is my favorite way too! Though I've been thinking about kayaking lessons this summer...have you ever tried?
Michael - Isn't the view from the water fabulous? Haven't been kayaking in a couple of years....gonna have to do that, SOON!
Laura - I have done a bit of kayaking in my days. It's very nice & relaxing....Good workout too! You'll love it!

Is that the Hahn "S.S. Minnow"? Because if it is, I want to be on it. Nothing like the peacefulness and views when on a sailboat.
You really do gain a unique perspective of a coastal area when viewing it from the water, don't you?
Great pics Amy!!! We do live in a beautiful place, sometimes even the pictures do not do it justice. I hate I did not make it out there today, but did get plenty of sun. Definitely boating next weekend though.

Mark - We are pretty darn lucky to live here, aren't we? And it was a GORGEOUS Sunday on the NC Coast! Maybe one weekend we can all get out together, or meet up at Shack....
Amy, some people get confused on the island about what is the "front" of the house and what is the back. Around here the front of the house often faces the water and the back is the driveway side.
