remember when you assume you make an ass of u & me

Is assume still a dirty word? Anyone finding assumable mortgages? Owner financing is not so hard to find anymore. Why is Bush talking about bailing out people who are behind in their mortgage payments. How about those of us that work 80 hours a week to come up with the extra that pops up on your payment when a loan re indexes? I say they just lower the Fed Rate and let inflation pop up. The economy is so big and powerful that we are of great conceit to think it can be adjusted.
