Curb Appeal --- First impressions count!

Curb Appeal

First impressions count! There are several steps you can take to entice buyers before they ever set foot inside the door:

  • Rake the yard, trim bushes, and repair the retaining wall
  • If necessary, pressure wash the exterior of your home and/or repair siding to give the appearance that it is clean and well-cared for. Check the north side where the green stuff grows
  • Walkways should be clean and clear to make the home accessible. If they have settled consider mud jacking.
  • Outdoor accessories should be simple and tasteful to avoid turning off. Good deals on outdoor furniture are now available
  • For a more dramatic transformation, consider adding a porch, fence, or other distinctive features to make the exterior of your home more appealing

I think you will be surprised how affordable the Dairyland is,

so come to my land of cows and plows and visit for a day, but stay for a lifetime

First impressions are like pictures - worth a thousand words!  You can never go back for a first impression.  Great post.

Curb appeal is the first place I start with my clients Scott. The curb appeal should pull the buyer in and reassure them the house is well maintained.
