Heyward House Museum Center, 70 Boundary Street in Bluffton. This is a historic house museum with docent led tours, free map for walking tours. Built around 1841, the Heyward House Museum Center has been completely resotored. 843-757-6293

The Sandbox Museum, An interactive Children's Museum for babies through age 8. The perfect place on a hot summer day to cool off with the kiddos. Exhibits include a jet cockpit, climbing wall, pirate ship with costumes, an international cafe and art center. 843-842-7645
Palmetto Bluff Museum, This is a free small museum located in the beautiful and picturesque community of Palmetto Bluff. Here you can learn everything about the Yemassee tribe to local animals and wildlife.
