If you have been blogging for any amount of time, you are probably familiar with Blog Action Day.  Blog Action Day, scheduled this year for 10/15/10, is an event where Bloggers from all over the world join forces to write about, and bring attention to, a global problem or issue.

This year the topic of Blog Action Day is WATER.

It was recently announced that the White House Blog and the Official Google Blog will both be participating in this year's event.

For those of us who post frequently, it can sometimes be a challenge to come up with new topics.  Blog Action Day provides the topic, you provide the commentary.

To be officially 'counted' as participating, you need to register your blog and then post any time on the 15th of October, 2010.

Even if you decide not to participate, I would appreciate your sharing news of this event with other bloggers.

Hmmm, Todd. I am sure that a picture of you in the bathtub would count, but I worry if it is in the spirit of the thing...I guess it depends on dressed or not dressed :)??!!
