Who Wants To Be A Second Home Owner In Asheville, NC?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner

As Asheville, NC has some great real estate bargains and with a strong vibrant community, many are considering purchasing a second home here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  If you are one of those considering a purchase in the near future, read on.

Step #1

As an owner of Carolina Mornings, one of my jobs is speaking to potential second home owners. The quintessential question is “What is the best investment for a vacation rental in Asheville”? This is truly a question that is difficult to answer. Everyone’s financial situation is unique and this impacts the ubiquitous question.

I always applaud and am grateful when an  interested second home investor contacts me before contacting a REALTOR. As my experience has demonstrated, most REALTORS are not in the vacation, second home or investment property market and are unable to thoroughly understand this industry.   Having an investor/second home owner come to me after signing at the conference table, is not advantageous for anyone.  This can be a disaster.

Contacting any  rental management company is crucial as we can give you an idea of what your profits, both gross and net as well as a general idea of other carrying costs and other factors to consider.  By looking at real estate in the Asheville, NC area, with knowledge of what will be most profitable for your situation is a logical choice for contacting a vacation rental management company.

I've been to Asheville a few times, it is a beautiful area. The Blue Ridge Mountains are awesome. Being a dog owner, I'm also happy that dogs are allowed on the grounds of Biltmore, one of the mose impressive estates in the country.

Yes, Asheville is a gorgeous town and now during the fall the mountains are spectacularly beautiful with bright orange, yellow and red leaves.

We have many homeowners who allow their vacation rentals to be pet friendly and find this is very popular. Also, as you experienced, Asheville is a very pet friendly community. We often have a four legged family member greet you at our office too!
