APPLE PICKING ~ WARWICK NY ~ OCH'S ORCHARD !!!


Looking for a fun day out in the Orange County, NY area ?!?!

 

 

How about a visit to the fabulous Och's Orchard in Warwick NY for an afternoon of picking fresh produce !

Depending on the time of year you visit, the following produce is available for pickin' !

Strawberries: June - early July
Blueberries: July - Early August
Raspberries: July - October
Blackberries: August
Peaches: late July - Early September
Cherries: late June - early July
Apples: September - October
Pumpkins: September - October

 

 

... so right now, for the Fall, it's a perfect time to go fill up a bag of freshly picked apples !!!!

Golden Delicious, Cortlands, Jonagolds, Red Delicious & Crispins and more ! Ripe, juicy and oh so sweet !

But dont take my word for it, look at the fun these guys had this last weekend !!!

 

 

 

... and of course, you can eat what you capture along the way if you choose to !!!!!





You could help your collection by renting a big apple-collecting stick !!!








Which allows you to snag some of the sweetest apples from the top of the trees :o)


Oooh look ! This guy found a nice one !!!


... and he snagged a bigger one here too !!!!


The view was spectacular too ... it really is a terrific location to enjoy an outside afternoon !


... and lets not forget they have Pumpkins too !!!



So check your calendar ! Find an opening, and load up your car with family and friends, and head over to Och's Orchard, in Warwick, NY !!!!

You'll have a great day !!!

I went apple picking as a kid with my family every year and I did the same with my kids for a number of years. In addition to a good time, and fresh apples you create some great memories and get great pictures (as you did).

 

So now what are you going to do with all your apples?

Oh My G-d,

this brings back such GOOD childhood memories from Ochs Farm. Do they still have those two big dogs? and the homemade peanut butter?

I havent been there for over 18 years!!!!

thats where my trip will this coming Sunday- I'm sure my children will retain good memories too

Yael ! It really is a fun place, and I think my kids will become regular visitors each year too !

I didnt see the dogs, but I'm pretty sure they still had their homemade peanut butter sales at the bottom of the hill !
