Think about this for a moment.  We like to think that we do everything for them; go to work; cook; clean; honey dos; etc...  It isn't what we do, but how we do it.  Do we do it begrudgingly, or are we happy to do it?  Do we show the other spouce love and appreciation, even if we think they are just doing their share?  What about our children?  How do we treat and respect them?  These are pointed questions, but we need to look at these honestly and take care of home before we can really take care of business and others.

Do we come home after working all day, expecting our dinner on the table or puking all over the ones we love with all the bad and negitive things that happened today?  How does this make them feel?

We have been on the subject of the Secret  and positive thinking lately.  If we are being positive, then we would have turned this negitive into a positive and not needed to talk about the bad, but instead, concentrated on the good.

How we treat others is a look at how we think about ourselves and insecurities we have within.  If you truly love yourself and have forgiven yourself for whatever may be in your PAST, then you can and will freely love others.  Just think how home and work would be if you were always truly happy and thinking about your dreams and goals; being truly thankful to God for all you now have and are receiving.  You will be a joy to be around.  Others will gravitate towards you.

If we feel good about ourselves and our family, how much easier to feel good about your job and the clients you work for and the associates you work with.  You will draw associates to you who want to help you were you need it and business towards you, all do to how you are.  This way you are a tur testament to God and his will.  Others will see you as an example of how to live and praise and be thankful day in and day out.

If you do get upset about something, handle the problem quickly and then think of all the things you have to be thankful for.  This will help keep you from taking problems home and spoiling home.  You have the power to control the attitude in the household.

Let me know what you think or any experiences you have had.  God Bless.

Oh BTW I just got my copy of the Secret. I can't wait to start reading it tomorrow.   Good night.

I believe how I treat others is an extension of loving God with all my heart. As humans, it is almost so easy to neglect the people around us and feeling that physically being there is "being there". I am guilty of that as well. Thanks for this reminder.

It's human nature to want to "puke" out the bad, but for different reasons. Some just want to get the bad experiences out of their systems; others truly enjoy reliving such times. Regardless, it's definitely better to focus on the positive, and what future can be made out of that.

Loreena, Yes it is.  You think they are and always will be there.  Even if physically they are, we can destoy them inside by what we say and how we treat them.  Our words and actions speak so loudly, even if we have now idea what we are doing.  We are all guilty of it.  All of what I write I have done or been around.  We are all here together for a reason and need to help each other.  God Bless you.

Danielle, you are right, it is.  But if we keep doing it, they will find other places they need to be instead of there for you.  We need their reasurance, but need to be careful what we do to them.  Besides, if we let the negitive stay in us, it is just eating away at us and all the positive we have done.  We need to immediately replace the negitive energy with positive.  We need to remember that negitive thoughts and emotions have just as much energy as positive ones.  We need to build up our positive emotions so much bigger so that we can flush out the negitive and keep moving towards our dreams and goals.  Peace

Phyena, Everytime I write, I give myself more to think about and things to stop, adjust, or tweek, to make sure I am going in the right direction.  I have an idea I think I want to write about, but then, due to what I am learning, I end up somewhere else, and am not surhow I ended up there, like now.  Take care.

Chris, anytime my friend.  Congrats on the babies.  What are they, how big, .... you know all the normal questions. lol  Inquiring minds want to know.   May He watch all your steps and prosper all you put your hands to.

Earl

what an eye opener! My husband and I recently read the secret, there are several people in our church that do not think we should be reading this book, however if you put it in the context of GOD it is amazing how you will actually pull the Bible into the book with you.

Good luck and stay positive!!

Jennifer, I am sure my father, a devote Jehovah's Witness, would agree with those in your church.  I know looks who would agree.  But, then if we weren't suppossed to use God's law of Attraction, why did He create it?  ALso, do they really think God, who create such majesty and riches, and wealth, wanted us to be poor and less.  If we believe this, we are not living up to our potential.  Why would God give us the dreams that we have, if He didn't want us to have them.  I love the Secret and have come across a CD called the Secret Meditation, which uses the LOA, and talks about God and His desires for us.  I fall asleep to it, which is how it is designed to work.  I have been doing that for the last 5 days.  Thank you for the post.
