Special offer

From nice and friendly looking to obviously empty....Race Street Searcy Arkansas

In 1987 this house was for sale.  It was offered for a mere $38,500.  There are chairs on the porch, flowers in the yard, and of course the original wrought iron decorative pillars.

Fast forward to today. Race Street has grown busier and more crowded and the house has become more and more lonely even in the middle of a crowd.  Wonder how much longer it will be there?

You didn't say, but isn't this one on EAST Race?  I'm pretty sure I remember one of my classmates renting it, when he and his wife got married, about late 50's.  They probably had the one bedroom apt.

Anita, it is on Race Street.  I'm proud of you for recognizing it!

Rita, I remember being in it one time and the floors were almost roller coaster like.  But the picture makes it look pretty good.

"Good 'close to downtown' location could almost eliminate the need for a car!"

"Almost" meaning, "This would have been true 30 years ago"

Barbara...I remember this house too. Your right Race St. is changing. When I go home to Searcy it amazes me at the changes.,
