These times sometimes dictate that people need a little more help...than they want to ask for or can have ever imagine needing. Sometimes we work with sellers that are not upside down...but do need a hand up and won't put a hand out to make the very most of their real estate investment.
We urge other people to something we do every time the need arises. You may find contractors of various kinds who are of like mind...kind of heart, talented and willing to wait for payment until after a property closes.
lawn cutter It may the the yard maintenance person who helps put the garden, bushes and trees to bed for fall, the painter who brightens the interior to maximize the photographic eye candy, the  cleaning crew who puts the polish on the woodwork...cleaning ladythe kinds of things that the seller would want to do...but finds it difficult to manage financially without the funds from a successful closing.  We are fortunate to have found just such talented and willing souls who know what a hand up means when a hand out is embarrassing...it's what you do as a part of a community that cares about their own.

painter This week, someone will be grabbing the rake and someone else whizzing the vacuum and dust cloth through a home to polish it for buyers to offer the best possible price and the seller can begin a better chapter in life. You can find people kind of heart....and it will warm your own as well as the Seller's....pay it forward...you have the power to make someone's day, alter the outcome of a sale...change a life, use it.

You two are some of my favorites.   I work with a ton of people who help me get a house ready, too.  From the Handy Guy to my favorite trashout guy.  (He also does yard maintenance!)

Take care!

Sally and David:  I suppose I could write much here ... something cute, something flashy.  But I won't.  I'm just going to write what I'm truly thinking and feeling.  You're good people Sally and David Hanson ...

This is a great way to help your sellers, and I'm sure it's possible to find different people who will do this.

It's a good thing to develop a list so that you give the opportunity to contribute to the community to more than one contractor in an area...spread the good everywhere.

I work with a great group of people who often wait weeks and weeks for payment, until closing.

Sally and David,

What a great way of explaining our common connection with everyone around us, even in our line of business.
