West Point Jazz Knights

Join us by celebrating  Veteran’s Day, and also the Count Basie Theatre's 84th birthday, with a free concert by the West Point Jazz Knights! Recreating the sounds of the great Big Band jazz ensembles, and playing innovative original compositions and arrangements, the Knights have over three decades of musical excellence as an ensemble.

The members are all graduates of the most prestigious music schools, recruited by audition for service in the US Military Academy Band. In addition to providing music for Academy functions, the Knights have played with Benny Goodman at Lincoln Center, twice for Boston's Independence Day celebration, and with jazz greats like Rufus Reid, Steve Turre, Randy Brecker, Jon Faddis and Benny Golson.
