Above all- INTEGRITY

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX of Spokane 77217

Watching the latest news on the new unfolding of issues with foreclosures makes me wonder at what level the moral fiber and integrity breaks down.

Greed was at the root of the mortgage crisis, and now a whole new wave of ugliness is surfacing.

I would rather sleep at night than do something dishonest. I would rather walk away from a commission than skirt the truth in any way.

HONESTY, INTEGRITY, FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY, that's how I roll. It is just inconceivable how corrupt people can be.

I have a clear conscious and it feels amazing. Better than any mansion bought on the backs of someone else.

There are complicated reasons why so many are affected by this unprecedented downfall in the market. My heart goes out to the many who have been affected. It has had a dramatic impact on my business and affects millionss every day. Such a ripple effect.

We are connected in so many ways, our actions and inactions are far reaching- for good, and for bad.

I choose the high road of unwavering integrity.

BethAnn, good on you. The biggest negative about "the situation" is that we all have to pay the price for the glut of the past few years.

But the good news is, that the cream always rises to the top.

Best of luck.

Bethann,

Nice post!

The term REALTOR® has come to connote competency, fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations. No inducement of profit and no instruction from clients ever can justify departure from this ideal.

In the interpretation of this obligation, REALTORS® can take no safer guide than that which has been handed down through the centuries, embodied in the Golden Rule, "Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."

Taken from the Texas Realtors code of Ethics

Thanks for reminding us!!
