Yesterday I had the privilege and honor to attend the ALC workshop in Livonia Michigan.
Another great day with agents from our Michigan and Northern Ohio region. Another day, that confirms my choice to be a Keller Williams agent. And I am not easily pleased! Or can stay satisfied for a long period of time with out change. Just ask my husband!
In some ways my relationship with Keller Williams Realty is much like the one I have with my husband ( who I have been married to almost 21 years).
Status Quo has never been okay with me. I need and desire; change, excitement, attention, love, support and room to grow as my own person.
I can honestly say I have all of these things with my husband and with Keller Williams Realty. I am blessed and I know it!
Yesterday at the meeting, we were very lucky to have Mo Anderson talk to us. She makes me laugh as she refers to herself as Mama Mo.
MO is the culture of Keller Williams Realty and travels to all of our Regions to teach classes and spread the word of our culture. One of the things that really amazes me about KW is that I can call an agent anywhere in the country to refer to one of my clients, and KNOW that they are going to get the same kind of service as if they were her with me. I never have to worry, and I truly believe this is because of MO. I do not know her personally, but from listening to her yesterday, I believe she lives what she preaches, and only expects out of us, what she expects out of herself. Leading by example. And from the meeting yesterday, she is not afraid to tell you what she expects from us. In a nut shell, she just wants us all to be nice! Successful, profitable, ethical and a professional, but really just be nice!
I have read many blogs and discussions where agents say it does not matter what company you work for, as it is the agent who matters. Well, Keller Williams does believe it is the agent........who makes the company. They help and support you to build YOU! But as a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty since 2002, I have to say I am the Realtor I am today, because of Keller Williams Realty. Just like a marriage, both have to give 110 percent.........
How does that old saying go? Give a man a fish he can eat for a day, teach a man to fish and can eat forever..... (I may have this wrong, but you get my drift) The fact that Keller Williams is always on the edge of technology and giving us the tools and education to be successful, and as the market changes we change, learning to deal with what is happening NOW. This means it is never status quo at Keller Williams Realty. Which means, I am always stimulated with new information.
But the new information may not come from Keller Williams Realty itself, if may come from others in our office. The sharing of information to help each other be successful is outstanding. Having been in sales all my life..... I have never been in a sales office of any kind where my peers were willing to share information that is helping them be successful, till I went to Keller Williams Realty. We all hep each other and give each other support. If an agent is down, we are to help pick them up.
Keller Williams Realty is truly a unique place to work..........
