I'm curious, what you all think of this.  Check out the article in the link, it talks about how this whole mess began.  Part of me sympathizes with her, the other part of me sides with the banks.  Its a technicality, a stupid one, and the banks ddidn't do the right thing, but that doesn't change the fact that she hasn't paid a mortgage in 2 years and shouldn't be there anymore.  What are your thoughts?

I do hear every now and then about a homeowner who was making their payments, but the banks somehow got the idea they weren't. Then, it became such a huge mess, the person lost the home. It's for those folks that the banks should be taking care with these matters, even though they're rare. If YOU were the only one, it would give you no comfort that 'everyone else' deserved to be foreclosed on.
