P.S. Did You Know . . . ?

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Financial Revitalize

The P.S. (postscript) in any letter is the second most read statement after the headline.

So, add a P.S. in every single one of your letters.

You could use it to provide a general summary of whatever you said in your letter. Or you could write "teaser" information to get a rise out of your recipients.

The possibilities are endless, really.

It is a very powerful trick that is used extensively by direct marketers; and they know it works, because they test everything.

Hope this tip helps.

P.S. If you're more adventurous, you can add P.P.S.  and continue with a P.P.P.S. and so on.

Hi Ilyce - I didn't know that about the P.S. part of a letter or note.  Think I might just try that and see how it goes.

Thanks for sharing!
Ann

ps - congrats on your FEATURE!

I never thought about this marketing trick - will definietly incorporate it into my writings.

P.S. Nothing here, just wanted to be like the others who made comments :)

The P.S. idea is a good one.  I've used it for years and believe it to be effect.  Some people won't read the letter at all, they just glance down to the end and see the P.S.

P.S. I was going to write a P.S. here but everyone else beat me to the idea.

P.P.S. Maybe next time I'll think of something else to write (LOL)

Hi I,

Yes, I've heard that before from my business coaching group, now if I just remembered to do that more often. Thanks for the reminder, I needed that.

Great Idea! Anything to get your clients to read more than the headline of your letter.  Thanks for the tip.

Fran - I use it in emails often. Somethimes you need to put a quick reminder in about something that's a bit unrelated to the main messgae. Go for it.

P.S. It fits in before your signature.

Laura - That's a great idea. I'd get a bit more specific, if you don't mind the suggestion. Why not mention the type of referral you'd like? Just a thought . . .
