QR Codes, get before the Conference! (business cards are out dated)

Do not get caught at the National Assocation of Realtors handing out business cards when you can easily have a QR code on your phone ready to share...

QR codes are quickly catching on, especially in the green movement.  Simply click here, get your code.

On you phone, download an application.  I like Barcode Scanner myself.

At the conference, have you barcode set as your homepage so people can quickly scan your infomation.  This also gives you time to say Hello...

Are you using QR codes on your listings yet?  I'm ordering my new signs this week!

While I definately agree that QR codes are coming, they aren't quite here for most of the country.  We seem to be leading the pack, but there will be a LOT of people there without the ability to read the QR code, so don't lose the cards quite yet.

Doggone it, I really feel out of it. I have a hard enough time with cell phones that do everything but launch missles... now business cards are on the extinction list?

I never even heard of a QR code until I read your post and clicked on the link. Thanks for broadening my technical horizons!

I love the QR code concept.  Our web provider is now offering the service with exclusive codes for each listing.

Hope learn how to transmit the code via the infra red on the phone to larger numbers.

Thanks for the post.

Angie,
I'm wondering how many people are taking advantage of this one, I'm not sure about it ! I really don't know if it is really worth it to keep using, i mean it doesn't hurt, but what is really the impact on these ones? any experience at all?

Frank... QR codes are visual codes for the phone to read.  They can't be 'beamed' via infra-red... however, phones with IR ports can beam information just like a TV remote... there just aren't many anymore.

Ray... we are ahead of the curve, but the world will be catching up to us on QR.
