If there was ever a time where I hoped in my heart of hearts for attention to what I write, this is it.  Forgive me folks, this is truly greed.  I wanted to find the absolute best writings Active-Rain has ever saw, I want to learn and want others to do the same.  What I ask for, is very simple.  There have been posts after posts written by a wide variety of individuals on this forum.  I'm a Be-All/End-All type of guy.  I want the best of the best.  So, if you are reading this, link the best post that you've written in the comments.  Link the best post you've seen in the comments.  It doesn't much matter if the post is Real Estate oriented, Comedy, Life, Inspiration, Well-Written Piece, what have you.  I just want feedback on the best.  I'll include the 10 best posts I've ever read on Active-Rain at a later time in the comment section below.  I hope to the high heavens to grab insight into 'The Greatest Blogs Of All......'

I can't possibly pick just one favorite of all the people here... how about 5?

09/01/2007 11:04 PM by Desiree Daniels New Jersey Real Estate (609) 448-2222 (RE/MAX Tri County)

5 works Desiree, heck 10 is fine!  I'm just curious to find stuff I haven't read and maybe others haven't either.  There are no rules per se, just pick the best and that works for me.  Thanks!

09/01/2007 11:06 PM by Jason Sardi, Pennsylvania Mortgage Broker (First Choice Equity Group Inc.)

Jason, I'm not very comfortable listing my own, but I will look and get back to you on favorites from others!  Thanks for the challenge!

The Real Estate Industry on Active Rain/Opinions?

This one because I have 25 links to other member's posts in it of a lot of favorite posts. (even your "if you're happy and you know it blog away") A lot of my posts have links to other people's posts in it. So how does one pick all time favorites? I would list everyone I read every day. I would even list all my about hawaii posts. This post could turn into a 10 part series for you. I know it would for me!

09/02/2007 12:02 AM by Celeste "SALLY" Cheeseman (RA), e-PRO HAWAII Real Estate & HAWAII Relocation (Century 21 Liberty Homes -Mililani, Hawaii)

Jason,  this is a great subject to blog about ...I'll be keeping a close eye on the comments in order to discover some new gems too...

Here is my favourite post that I have read in the past  two weeks.....

What a great concept!  I plan to bookmark this to check and recheck for these BEST POSTS.  I'll have to think about my personal best and come back later...but for now I thank YOU for coming up with this brilliant idea to put so many in one spot.  THIS will be a great link/post to share with NEWBIES at a later date as it grows.

Jason, Great Idea! I'll have to dig around and see what I can find to send you.

09/02/2007 06:53 AM by Lysa Napolitano, Call Coordinator ~ Century 21 Sundance (Century 21 Sundance)

Congrats on your star, Danger Boy!

OK, this one is way too hard.  I'll do my own blog now because that's easier, and I'll have to get back to you on all of AR.  That's an awful lot of stuff, and too much to choose from.  And keep in mind that my opinion would change by the day!  But here goes:

Notice, not a single thing about real estate, not a single bit that has a thing to do with work.  Shame on me.

09/02/2007 07:01 AM by Sarah Cooper (Real Estate Shows)

I'll be back...this is going to take some research!

09/02/2007 07:17 AM by Lake Norman Real Estate ~ Diane Aurit (RE/MAX at the Lake)

Shucks.  I don't have any favorites.  They just all go together in a conglomerate of my stuff, other's stuff and the experience.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME. . . . . .

This was tough, but "Have You Given Up?" has to be my favorite piece I've done in a while.

Jason, I don't think I've written my best post yet.   I have all sorts of little fragments in my Treo.  That are inspiration for blogs.  But they haven't been born, yet.  I just don't think I have anything special enough for your contest.

09/02/2007 08:12 AM by Chris Elizabeth Griffith ~ Bonita Springs Fl Real Estate (Keller Williams Elite Realty, Bonita Springs, FL)

Hi Jason,

Well, suppose you can add this post to the list since it got us to comment and meet ya'!  Great idea and congrats on your star.  The fact of the matter is that we're like you and want to know what the best is but here in the Rain it's too hard to pick a puddle.  They're all kinda fun to jump into and splash around!

09/02/2007 08:54 AM by Pascack Valley Real Estate>> Lisa and Robert Hammerstein (Coldwell Banker)

I left out too many people that I really like, but here's an imperfect and partial list.  Best I can do.

09/02/2007 09:32 AM by Sarah Cooper (Real Estate Shows)

Hi Jason - what a great idea!  I don't think I have any that merit mention here, but am enjoying those that others have listed here.

I'll keep checking back to see what other posts show up here.

Jason - what a great idea!!  The best blogs of all time unfortunately won't include mine.  For the most part, I try to write so that my Blog will be helpful to other writers.  I love feeling like I have contributed to my clients and friends successes.  Always trying to make my next post, better than the last. Technology, gadgets, support and help posts are my main focus.  So I will select someone else's post for your list.  This one will grow on you, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it and watching it grow should be fun.  The Greatest Blog of All!

Looking forward to your compilation!  Great job, and Congrats on your feature. :-)

09/02/2007 10:26 AM by Brad Andersohn ~ Community Builder (ActiveRain)

Hi Jason - why thank you about the mention of that post! I had forgotten about that one, but in re-reading it, those feelings associated with that situation come right back.  I did send letters out after that one, but never heard a word from anyone.  Of course, now that company is history, probably as it should have been.

Thanks again for finding that and posting it here - glad you enjoyed it, and many thanks for that very nice compliment!

JASON,

I'm not comfortable recommencing my own musings, because I find it hard to predict the reactions to much of my writings.

I'm most proud of the early exchanges between Brian Brady and myself. We not only taught good real estate and lending we did it better than either of us could alone. And, all with out malice of forethought!

Brilliance alone does not tell the story, what value is the greatest of paintings if no one sees it?

How are we to judge the feel good blogs of TRW against serious real estate or lending education? I would come down in favor of education, but I'd would hate to live without the feel good. Then there are the self promotion, the ads, some are genius most are mundane, how are we to judge them against education or feel good postings?

It's an interesting project, I'm glade it's your's and not mine.

Good Luck,

Bill
